Last week two threes, this week two fours - and the angular bent ply arms on this pair of No. 506 armchairs by Cor Alons are quite mesmerising, very mesmerising ..... completely mesmerising!

These plywood lounge chairs by Cor Alons for Bas van Pelt dating from the 1950s would have been perfect for inclusion in our three threes post. Why, oh why, did we not know about them sooner? Why?
